Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

It is an honor to serve as Sierra Oaks K-8 PTA’s President. The 2023-2024 PTA board worked together to establish the following mission statement for the Sierra Oaks PTA:

The Sierra Oaks PTA serves the children of Sierra Oaks K-8 through educational enrichment programs and purposeful financial support for the staff and school community. The PTA facilitates partnership and engagement between students, families, teachers, and the community to create a positive and safe learning environment that promotes diversity and inclusivity.

This year, our PTA will continue to focus on providing programs (educational, cultural, technological, leadership, and more) that will benefit each and every student at Sierra Oaks K-8. These programs are funded through donations, business contributions, and proceeds from our fundraisers. The PTA’s ability to fund these programs and many others is possible only because of the generous donations of time, expertise, and funds by teachers, staff, parents, and the community, and there are always opportunities to participate in big and small ways, from home and at school.

So, I invite you to join the Sierra Oaks PTA! We cannot do this without you! Thank you for helping in any way you can and showing our children that they, their school, and their education are important.
